Don’t recognize this as DeWitt, but certainly a nice shot.
I was not sure what road this was, took a stab at DeWitt. Ron labelled the slide as “Stoney Creek” but no road name.
I posted a shot of the sign at DeWitt (#35877) and the key to this is that the sign is more on an angle as the road took a sharp turn as it come down the hill to cross the tracks.
The CP red air tanks on the roof of the lead unit are an interesting detail.
Looks more like Mountain ave Stoney creek. Train is actually crossing Stoney Creek with the punch bowl to the left of the photographer.
