Oh boy, what an awful day. I was just on my way back into Burlington and then home after shooting the Westinghouse Plant switcher in Hamilton (RP #17238) and happened across what appears to be a Port Robinson-Toronto train, so stopped and grabbed this image from the hillside as the train was within a stones throw of Hamilton Junction. The power I recorded as CN 9555,9460, 9589 and 4569. The old section house shack along the line dates this image. These places have pretty well disappeared. It may be a cruddy weather photo, but I would much rather be out in a day like this than one where the sun has set me to broil as it has been these past days.

  1. Wonderful atmosphere Arnold! Fabulous that you included the section house.

  2. @A.W.Mooney: Hahaha. You better get used to it. 30 deg C plus for the next week and a bit. Very cool image (literally!). Was it taken in another snowstorm ramping up? Man, I miss snowstorms. We don’t get any big ones anymore it seems. Just heat in the summer…
