After working both sides of the interchange (setting off east of Ottawa Street and lifting on the west side), the 1500 Yard Job has tied back onto the few cars they left on the main. Next up, a light out of the hole and onto the connecting track to head back into the yard.

  1. Great light. When dofasco is gone from here these shots will be gold.

  2. Sweet, sweet light…well done!

  3. Thanks guys – been having fun with the north side light this summer when the opportunity presents itself.

  4. @Stephen C. Host Dofasco is leaving? Would this mean the ‘end of steel’ ;) for The Hammer?

  5. No. Not now.

  6. Amazing light ! Can’t beat a fine industrial shot in the Hammer.

  7. Thank you, Aitch. It is exceedingly difficult to get north side light in the evenings in the north end of Hamilton. Mornings at least are a cake walk for that in the summer.
