CP train #521 (USA-Toronto)seen here just out of the canal tunnel westbound to Welland Yard, where it will work, returning from the US of A via the old steel arch bridge. Power up front is SOO 767, HELM 6367 and CP 3025. Back in those crazy days of heavy leasing by the power short CP, you never knew what to expect. Image shot on ISO 400 Kodak medium format print film, 500 - 5.6 for those who care about such matters.

  1. Which were the Conrail – Michigan Central tracks? it looks like even then two sets of tracks had already been removed.

  2. The middle track was removed. There were three sets of tracks through here.
