The light blue morning sky is cloudless and the sun is in full force in the city of Cambridge this morning as this years CP weed sprayer train soars over the Grand River with 1983 built SD40-2 numbered 6045 in the lead. At roughly 25mph, the engineer will ease the train spraying chemicals along the ROW towards London with a Track Block west of Woodstock where the train will hold for a time amount I’m unaware of. Good to see spring developing and the grey colours being eliminated with the blooming green trees and the bright sunlight. Temperature was ideal near the water as well, such an amazing morning.

  1. If only I had driven a bit faster :( Great shot!

  2. And they remembered to shut the spray off crossing the bridge!!

  3. When I caught it in Mississauga going west bound, I don’t remember the consist so ‘long’. Would they drop off empty tanks then go back for more?

  4. @BradKetchen, I’ve heard sometimes they do run out of spray and the consist may or may not change because of that. For this run though, don’t think any of the cars were dropped. Don’t quote me on that though, only saw it twice LOL
