Once the site of a 41 car siding and a flag stop for CPR passenger trains, on this day in August 1971 the next stop for "The Canadian" will be the Field, 12 miles ahead. That's Wapta Lake on the left (and the Trans-Canada Highway is out of sight to the left). Power is CP Rail FP9 1405, GP9 8518, and an unidentified FP7.

  1. This was a trip Doug took out west to see Doug Wingfield..He took the Canadian when still was CP.
