At 3.30 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 1997, CN 7104 rests on the radial tracks at the Fairview Roundhouse.
CN assembled the 7104 from major components of SW1200RS 1248, GMDL 11-1956 #A1020, the first of 21 units in class GR-12h. It was retired in 1986, rebuilt at Point St. Charles and released as 7104 on Friday, May 1, 1987, with class GS-412b. It was retired on Friday, February 29, 2000, and joined the Canac / Savage lease fleet, where it remains active.
