Caption: Thanks to Hunter Holmes, who couldn't make the event due to his assignment, my daughter and I had the pleasure to attend CN's Rail Safety Day in September of 2018. This was a good year as just the month before we also were in Sarnia to see VIA's 40th Anniversary train on display downtown at Confederation Park. While my daughter was more enthused by the animals, horse rides and the bouncy castles, I was having a field day living a life long dream. It was so overwhelming being in the midst of CN's operations, standing in the vast Sarnia yard. On a siding, and fenced off to visitors, sits an old 'barn' of sorts in CN 2421 with its doors open. Coupled to it, are a couple of 'FPON' units by way of the Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern railroads.
