Impressive, to say the least. And come to think of it, I don’t think I have ever seen Babcock & Wilcox flats roll by me.
This cool. Would have originated off the Fergus Sub near Galt, to the Guelph sub.
I don’t think we’ll be seeing anymore though, CN seems to have ripped up the line south of Eagle St in Preston.
Thanks Stephen, and we probably won’t see any more nuclear power plants being built any time soon!!
Babcock is still churning out the vessels..

They are shipping a couple dozen smaller vessels over next couple years to Bruce Nuclear. And the link above was brand new for a power plant under contruction (however, it was halted, but the 10 year lead time meant things were still being delivered)
The babcock moves were the most interesting movements on the Guelph sub aside from GMD london exports.
Ripped up south of Eagle Street? There were empty centerbeams parked south of Eagle barely a month ago.
Anyone know how much this component weighed
This is a steam boiler and Darlington Nuclear Generation station has 16 of these. Each weighed between 750 and 760,000 pounds.
