CN 4131 leads four other CN geeps of various varieties southbound on the Huron Park Spur on the approach to Hayward Ave. and the CN/CP Interchange. At right is the LRT line which was fully operational the day before. I was at this location quite often last summer, hoping for an LRT/freight meet - got close, but not close enough! It also helped that I lived a couple kilometres away.

  1. Second is just first in a long line of losers

  2. @RLK2211: You may need to clarify your comment…

  3. If you’re not first you’re last

  4. Hahahh! Link the video! It’s awesome.

Kevin now you have to go back and get the LRT meet shot :) Ricky Bobby demands it!!

  5. Sounds like some inside joke…but I’m still confused. Sorry ‘Ricky Bobby’, I’m not going back for the meet shot. I already got one good enough for a record :)

  6. Oh ok. Talladega Nights. I get it. Funny! Hahaha.

  7. Nice shot Kevin. I remember this Saturday as I was at Canada’s Wonderland and it was sweltering hot and I was getting texts that L540 had five units that day. Glad someone got this.

Ironically I almost got an LRT meet with L540 last weekend here too. Unfortunately, now I have to get in line Ricky Bobby.

  8. @Noe: Thanks! I have an excuse now for not getting the meet shot since I live in Hamilton but you don’t! I want to see your meet shot :) So does Ricky Bobby hahaha.

  9. LOL the LRT runs every few minutes, a meet shot should be relatively easy.

The holy grail? CN, CP and a LRT. The rarest of the rare? GEXR/CP and the LRT (it happened!). Whoever has that shot pisses excellence!

  10. @SCH: A meet is easy – true…but up to Ricky Bobby standards? I question that. But, let’s see your shot to prove otherwise :)

  11. Your turn Kevin :)

  12. I’m exempt from getting the perfect meet shot. The pressure is on Noe! I may post something to the effect later…

  13. Bartlett probably already has it :)

  14. Hahaha. True. At least he better have it! And if he doesn’t….ooh… unacceptable!
