Caption: TTC PCC 4015 (an early A1-class car built in 1938) operating on the Kingston Road route, is seen coming off McCaul Street into traffic on Queen Street, where it will head back east through downtown Toronto, bound for Kingston Road and Bingham Loop in the east end.
The McCaul branch of the Kingston Road cars usually ran to McCaul Street and up to McCaul Loop, their end terminus, where they turned before heading back down to Queen and then eastward (mixed with regular Queen cars) for Kingston Road. This operation continued (with a few changes over the years) and became the 502 "Downtowner" streetcar which still runs on Queen St. to McCaul Loop today.
