Two trains (M37721-06 & M32121-06) are parked near a crossing at MP 202.77 of CN's Kingston Sub, unable to continue west due to a protest on CN's main line along Tyendinaga Mohawk territory at the time. Apparently the line has reopened this evening. Of note is that GECX 2038 will soon be repainted into CN colours and receive a CN number.

  1. So far only two trains have moved after the tracks was cleared, not to sure when the rest will move. Great photo BTW.

  2. Nice Michael!

  3. CBC or whomever used this near-identical image in a story about how CN and CP are cooperating with each other in reroutes.
I don’t suppose you stepped all the way to the left and took a different view, because that’s where the media photo was taken from ??

  4. I had seen that photo, but it is not mine. I had taken other angles but with better sun angle than they had ;-)
