This is a spot that I have never had luck at shooting till today, usually the sun is in a bad spot or the vegetation shadows out the train. As luck would have it the local had just finished working the deep industrial jungle in Hamilton just after the passage of train 422 so I was finally in the right location at the right time. Today's consist was a good mix of EMD units in the form of a GP9RM, GP38-2 and GP40-2. A mix of industries and the QEW Burlington Skyway bridge can be seen in the distance.

  1. Lifted the interchange by the looks of it. Nice shot Marcus.

  2. I was surprised how small the train was.

  3. Great pic Marcus!

  4. What is on 4136’s nose? Specifically what is the logo?

  5. AR Illinois, it was a made up railroad when the unit was briefly used in a tv production years ago and never removed.
