Things got a little interesting with a broken rail on the Guelph subdivision delaying train 84 by a couple hours, then CN 570 had a hot wheel backing up traffic near Milton. In the end VIA train 85 was diverted to one of the GO Transit storage tracks in Georgetown for about an 45 minutes to wait for the arrival of train 84. Here the two train can be seen meeting at the station, in a minute one passenger will board and both trains will be on their way.

  1. This is a rare capture…I don’t think you would see this meet very often. Great catch!

  2. Nicely done.

  3. Very neat shot Marcus. Certainly a lot of factors have to come together for 84 and 85 to be together at Georgetown.
