Caption: I was in no rush to post this, but the whereabouts of GEXR 2303 came up in discussion on Steve's recent upload of a GEXR plow extra in 2015 so figured the timing was right. In this shot, 2303 had just returned from taking tanks over to Franklin Yard and will soon proceed back south into the refinery where it is one of the units that handles switching duties. 591 is pictured further north, where it was waiting for 2303 to clear. On this day 591 was a solo 2081. 2111 was originally paired with it, but the engineer cut it loose in Garnet on account of not liking that unit. 2081 could handle the duties on its own as 591 was relatively small given that the refinery was on a maintenance shutdown at the time.
