Caption: Another one of those dismal sort of days in early December, with a hint of low sunshine, but what hurt was being let down by some inferior film this time around. It must have been that old Sakuracolor, an imitation po'boys Kodak that I should have never bought. Very grainy. This view is from the old Canada Crushed Stone conveyor that used to straddle the tracks carrying stone from the north hill side over to the stockpiles at Steetleys area down below the CN main. In this view foreground, the two right tracks are the main, the left is CN siding, well used, and down in the "gully" is the line off the CN that not only served Steetleys and their dolomite business, it also connected to the TH&B which accessed via the line that came thru Dundas! Top right; old Dundas station and section house across the tracks. Hwy 8 coming down the hill on the left. A lot to see in this view. Power on "VIA" #72 is CN 4017 and VIA 6621. The area mentioned 'down below' the track is now a housing complex.
