hello ladies!
Cool, the 3013 being a GP38AC and just over a year away from its 50th birthday.
@Larry Parks Yeah it’s cool seeing power that old still out roaming the rails.
Very nice shot Mike. It was good meeting you that day as well.
@Noe Thanks! Yeah it was nice meeting you too along with seeing everyone else from the area.
So who will be the first to post soo 4410? All those photographers
So many so that the first vehicle at the crossing asked me if we were a photography club.
Nice Mike! @jknott86: we are like a photography club…a really cool one
I just remembered I got a shot similar to this one.
If in highschool someone told me i’d be part of a photography club photographing trains.. i would have been beat up. Then again, I was the computer nerd in school… but by then it was acceptable as we knew how to get free computer programs and hack things
But trains are still a fairly nerdy thing to photograph. I’m sure we all have stories of explaining it to people
But I have stories that knock their socks off… this hobby is great!
I told the guys we were like bird watchers but weirder. They got a kick out of that.
People I went to high school with didn’t care that I photographed trains. They called me chooch for a little bit though lol I go to school for music now so I’m around nerdy people a lot so train watching doesn’t polarize them lol
4410 is now assigned to T69. (London power pool)
