CN 5334, an SD40-2W built by GMD in 1980, was the only CN locomotive to receive an Expo 86 colour scheme.
This image taken from Newtonville Road bridge shows CN 5334 leading an eastbound train in the Spring of 1985.
I believe the upper surfaces are gloss black, reflecting light from the sky.
CN also applied Expo 86 schemes to a few of their boxcars, the diagonal stripe colours varied.
