For years CN’s 7200 series GP9RM’s toiled away deep in the large yards across CN’s system, often assigned to the hump yards and typically mated to a slug. Times have changed and with larger power now working those jobs many of these units are beginning to wander elsewhere. CN 7230 has now lost its slug and gained ditch lights. The unit along with relatively rare GMD1 1437 are see busy working Hamilton yard with changing fall colours in the background.
