During the last month of Goderich-Exeter Railway operations on the Guelph Supervision, the railway kept their units mostly tied-down at the Kitchener yard, rather than across from the Kitchener VIA Rail station. Here two sets of GEXR motive power are seen on a Sunday afternoon beside the newly constructed future CN Guelph Subdivision Operations Centre.

  1. I like how the bend looks to be a bunch of straight rails linked together into a curve (which it more or less is :-) ).

  2. Yes, the photo really brings that out. Before last year, those tracks were mostly just used to hold usually tank cars that were eventually going to Elmira.
