It still amazes me that CN still has these GP9RM ‘s on the roster. A personal favourite Locomotive. EMD/GMD should be proud, considering they were built in the 1950’s and are still going strong for a Class One Railroad. Even though they were completely rebuilt in the 1980’s and some 1990’s. It’s hard not to pick up the camera when a pair are busy humping cars in Hamilton yard. Neither have seen the paint booth since they were rebuilt either.

  1. It amazes me too. Thanks for sharing. Luckily, these types have often been assigned to Kitchener jobs.
