There was once a time that I would dedicate an entire day to Railfanning in the Niagara region, but sadly that was years ago now. It’s sad to see what has become of most of the lines in the area not to mention the traffic that has vanished over the years. A trip to Buffalo today would find me taking a quick detour as I came upon a very dirty and worn BC Rail cowl unit leading train 421 at Grimsby. I can’t get enough of these old cowl units leading trains, especially with all the modern power kicking around these days.
