Caption: Goderich-Exeter Railway (GEXR) 431 has just arrived from CN’s MacMillan yard at Shantz Station Terminal Ltd Parrish & Heimbecker (P&H), which is located east of Breslau, Ontario. Powering the train are big GEXR SD45T-2 3054, GEXR SD40-2 3394 and RLHH SD40-2 3403. While this scene was routine at the time, as 431 would often work the P&H facility heading westbound, in less than three months, CN would take over operations on the Guelph Subdivision. Since the transition from GEXR to CN in November 2018, CN train L540 regularly works P&H from Kitchener during the week as well as when required on weekends. Also, CN L568 also switches the facility on weekends when there is no L540 ordered.
