CP's Toronto Yard in Agincourt has a lot less track nowadays. 
This view from Finch Avenue bridge shows beltpack-controlled switching units CP 4407 (GP38-2) and CP 6308 (SD60-3), both of Soo Line heritage, at work below the East Pulldown Tower. 
Note the remains of the hump adjacent to the yard tower in the distance, and the weedy area left of it which formerly held tracks receiving cars off the hump. A CP plow is between the yard towers, last car in siding.

  1. Nice shot John. That’s unreal compared to what it used to look like. It would be a neat time machine comparison possibly.

  3. Good old HH and his legacy. At Alyth in Calgary, they are gradually starting to use the old bowl tracks from what I understand. Even with the hump gone, there is enough incline for kicking cars into them.
