With sd75I 5761 on point, CN 384 motors through Georgetown GO eastbound shortly after 11 and it is a beautiful Sunny Sunday morning! Trailing units were C40-M8 2407 and Dash 8-40CW 2193 both in CN paint. There ended up being a few foamers actually who decided to take advantage and come to Georgetown this fine morning including I myself. The last railfan on the left at the end of the platform happens to be a well-known RP.ca contributor Jason Noe. His life long railfan Buddy Jason Bartlett is standing right next to him and we had one last detected railfan who goes by the name of Matthew and he is standing a bit closer to the train in the middle and taking photos of the power with his I-pad! Weekends on the Halton are always worth a try!

  1. I was at Mile 30.29 (Scotch Block) that day at the crossing taking video’s. Not sure if you have ever been there. But, this train was actually CN 348 I was told per a comment on Facebook. CN 384 was about 30 minutes ahead (when by me) with CN Tier 4′s 3039 & 3006. I sometimes do go to Georgetown as it’s my other favorite spot on the Halton.

  2. Haven’t quite explored much of the Halton other than my Hometown Brampton but I’ve checked out Norval, Georgetown and even Vaughan a couple times but anyway thank you for the correction! I myself actually forgot which train was which but one of my fellow young buddies on Instagram referred to this is 384 so I assumed that that’s what it was. But once again, thanks for the correction

  3. Ah ok. No worries. Not a problem ! I see you had a WB yellow lined as this train was passing by. I take it was 271 with CN 2889 leading and solo.
