CCGX 4024 could be getting a reprieve from the fate of most of its siblings in CP's GP9 fleet.
It was seen westbound near CN Aldershot East behind the active locos of a CN mixed freight train on 25 June 2019 at 11:36 EDT. Powering the train were GE's CN 2233, CN 2511, and CN 2598.

Where is it headed to eventually after it’s work?

IIRC, it was heading to LDS in Sarnia for work (probably a repaint and any prep work required). Cando picked up at least two other ex-CP units: CCGX 4021 & 4022 (both of those ex-CP 8240-series units). Haven’t heard anything on a 4023 yet.
