Caption: While I don’t really find the UPX trains all that exciting, I do like the shots in both directions off the Rogers Road bridge overlooking the Weston and Mactier subdivisions. I would imagine this is quite the busy spot on week day mornings, with the possibility of catching not just the UPX but also VIA, GO, CP and the rare chance of a CN. This vantage point looks northwest as a Person bound UPX train has just ducked under Rogers Rd. A Union station bound UPX train can also be seen beyond the signal bridge. The tracks in view here are owned by Metrolinx, and the track to the far right is used by CN’s local that interchanges with CP at West Toronto. CP’s Mactier subdivision can be seen to the far right in the background.

Modern times…
where do these UPX trainsets tie up when not in service or for maintenance?
