Caption: Two days after CN's London roundhouse at Rectory Street was gutted by an intense fire on Feb 12 1992, the city has received a snowfall - pictures from the day of the fire show a snowless scene.
The CN logo seems a bit out-of-place on this steam-era roundhouse, which CN had ceased using about 3 years before the fire. Built in the early 1900's as a much larger structure, it had been reduced to six stalls. The London Free Press newspaper story about the blaze indicates that after vacating the roundhouse, CN had ongoing problems with break-ins by "vagrants". Location mapped is approximate.

The CN logo on a roundhouse is quite a surprise.
