You had better take your “mini-saw” and do a ‘time machine’. Its a jungle in there…
Mini saw? The trees are 80 feet tall and 100 years old..
Guess I had better check that out. There’s nary a tree in my pic and, believe it or not, I have not yet reached 100.

My curiosity knows no bounds. So when it finally stops raining I shall go for a visit.
The branches in the tree seen here – lead down a trunk that is at the bottom (!) of the river valley. It’s a rather large tree..

At least I was able to get something but…. it’s less than ideal especially when the foliage kicks in because it’ll block part of the shot.
It’s just two or three branches though – someone with the right pruning tools Might be able to do it.. but good luck. It’s a long way down
As an update the plant at Thorold is mothballed not dead and empty. There is rumors that when the single use plastic ban really gets going the plant will reopen to make fast food packaging in paper probably recycled paper !
I meant ‘empty of activity’ but should have made myself more clear. But thanks for this news!! There is hope, yet.
