Caption: Ever book a day off work, that is planned for nothing but sunshine,wake up and all you see are clouds? This is what happened on the 25th - but I soldiered on anyway. Taking a friend from Montreal, we made sure to get to Ingersoll early to see the 0730 Cayuga sub (Aylmer/Tillsonburg South/Courtland) job work all over OSR's green earth and started at this spot just north of Salford in the edges of Ingersoll. After a 30 minute delay due to one unit not loading, the Cayuga job passed this almost identical scene in a 5 minute suckerhole of beautiful sunshine just as rain clouds approached from the north. With horns blasting for Ingersoll's many crossings, imagine our surprise to hear another horn show south of us by the 401 as the 0800 St. Thomas job follows the Cayuga job hot on their heels with a pair of F units. Talk about timing and picking the right spot. I'd continue to get lucky for more suckerholes at just the right moment, witness my next shot at Putnam in which the sun briefly appeared only to frig off to clouds for another 45 minutes as we followed 'em to St. Thomas.
