Arnold, did they have more then one of these at Canada furnace? We have a 45 tonner at work that apparently came from there.
Most interesting!! Google “Old Time Trains Port Colborne”, Industrial locomotives and you will find a photo of CDA Furnace Div #4. I don’t know how many they had. If possible, see if there is any ID in your loco and let us know what you can find!

I need to do more research but at present the listings on Colin Churcher’s Industrial website only have two GE’s, #4 and #5.
4 is shown as a 50T which I tend to agree, your number 3 Arnold appears to be.
Perhaps its just a case of having the wrong road number.
