Caption: Well, the joke was certainly on us earlier in this day. Jordan Friedrich and I (RP username: jfriedrich) went to the KW area to try and catch some GEXR action as their finals days wound down. Of course, things were absolutely dead and we were skunked all morning from a GEXR perspective. Feeling defeated, we grabbed lunch at Wendy's and then went over to Galt Station to see if anything was happening - of course not holding our breath. Low and behold, we were bombarded with a parade of four westbound trains in the span of an hour. No chatter on the scanner - but the gates just kept dropping. Ubiquitous GEs or not, the day had at least been somewhat salvaged by an unexpected flurry of action. And luckily I was able to catch some GEXR action before the Guelph Sub operations were returned to CN.
