Caption: CP's "Weed Train" (No, not that kind of weed) passes through the quaint town of Galt, Ontario passing over the Grand River. D&H 7303 made this a fan favourite for the second year in a row (7304 in the year prior). This nice scene has already changed as pedestrian lights are being installed all along this path in this very spot. Not sure if they'll add to the scene or take away, but one thing is certian: change is always just around the corner.
This train was operated by Davey Tree Services - makes me wonder if the D&H unit was chosen to distance CP from the application of herbacides, always a controversial subject in this day and age. We'll know if it happens again for the third year in a row this spring.

Had CP power on it when I chased it east out of Thunder Bay in August http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=34728
That’s because (and I heard) 7303 had a failure. But alas.. this year could be interesting again.
