Nice shot Bill. She still exists and is in excellent condition. It was used recently when Cando helped re-build the Hudson Bay Railway to Churchill.
Yes this great indeed! Wish I could’ve seen this line back then.
Steve Bradley, I actually had a couple quick questions off the top of my mind for you for a while now with regards to the Brampton customers and I though this photo would be a good spot to mention them. First one is, were there any other customers in Brampton besides Vulsey, ITP and Brampton Brick back when you first began your era along this line? And I was also a bit curious as to how frequently Vusley was serviced? Caught you guys down there a twice I’d say including the time I first met you in 2012. I’d say that was probably my highlight of the summer but nonetheless, I was just curious as to how often they received service so I can sort of anticipate when they may have a switch coming.
I started at OBRY in 2000 and those were the only three. Brampton Brick quit shortly after that. Vulsay is fits and starts. Depending on their contracts, you could service them in both directions, or only every other week. They have room for 8 tanks.
ITP is about twice a month.
Ok thanks Steve and one last question, I’ve honestly always been rather curious about the Orangeville customers as well. May I ask how many were present when you first began in 2000 followed by how many were remaining in 2018?
