Having just cleared the Halton moments ago, GMTX 333 slowly crosses Park st as they continue on through Downtown Brampton with 5 freight cars. Time was 10:52 and this morning they came at a decent time where they did not get stuck behind any trains on the bustling Halton Sub.

  1. Met the hogger for this very run the night before at a curling club in Hamilton. Overheard him mention he used to work for CP (selective hearing) and we got chatting.

  2. Wow that’s nice James!! I’d love to have a nice chat with the crew of these guys too at some point and you curl?

I actually curl as well and I’m not sure if you are aware of this but the Brampton Curling Club is only a block from the McMurchy Ave crossing in Downtown Brampton. When I was in high school, my team would usually kick off the season with a all-day bon speal tournament on a Friday sure enough, I heard this train rumble by while I was on the ice sweeping!

  3. Yup I curl too. Neat that the club is that close to the tracks.

  4. Nice catch i still gotta get more shots of them :)

  5. Thanks Curtis, well summers on its way so they’ll be plenty of opportunities in the next few months!!
