Caption: Getting late in the day, but at this time of the year the sun stayed awake for #79, which was due thru here around 8PM regular people time, or 2000 railroad time.
This version is moving along pretty good. It was tough to time it coming out from behind the old Dundas station and I acknowledge I shot it a hair too soon. Power is VIA 6758, 6622 and 6620.
Too bad we cannot turn back the clock. These years were great for passenger trains along the Dundas. In this case, I just wanted the leader, one of only two MLW FPA-2u, the other being 6759. They were both retired by 1987, and the unit pictured is now on the New York & Lake Erie, still active as far as I know.

wow ..you must-a-been in deep with all the critters on that hillside
If you were talking about winged objects on a warm summer night, yeah, they were a real nuisance. No 2 legged ones around though.
I really like this image, Arnold. From a photographic standpoint I think you timed it perfectly!
Thank you, Mr. Peter. I only wish that station was still there, the Cab units were still running, and I was retired back then. )
Great photo! I agree with Peter…you did time this perfectly. And how the photo is squared between brush…station…train. PERFECT!
Thanks, Todd !!! (Shucks)
