CN 5408 leads L562 off of the CP Hamilton Sub and onto the Trillium Cayuga Spur to set off a dozen cars for interchange with Trillium at Feeder Yard. They would lift traffic as well, and return to Port Robinson long hood forward via the Hamilton Sub. I recently shot TE11 here as well, shown in this shot dropping a large string of grain hoppers for Trillium. CP and CN access feeder yard from opposite directions, so the CP local clears the switch and shoves back in.

    Oops, I get it now. The 50mm f1.8 you mentioned in your other photo, is actually a short telephoto on your camera. I’ve been doing the same thing on my D200. :-)

    Somehow missed this comment before. I’m pretty sure I shot this one with the kit lens to be honest.
