Caption: CP SW1200RS units 8123 and 8151 work the 2nd Oakville job, heading westbound through Obico on the Galt Sub in the late morning with a train of 10 cars and steel van 434010 in tow. The train is enroute for CN's Oakville Sub via the Canpa Sub, as CP long had trackage rights on CN between Toronto and Hamilton dating back to the TH&B days. Behind the power are seven brand new Ford "Louisville" L-series truck tractors (built in Louisville KY) riding saddleback style on their flatcar, and a cut of auto parts boxcars visible on the head end, likely bound for the Ford plant in Oakville. Being November, the lead SW1200RS has already been "winterized" with a painted plywood snow shield applied to its front handrails, designed to prevent snow build-up in the radiator shutter area.
