Another gem Arnold. Reminds me of my days in Calgary (1996-2000). I was the Field Ops Safety Specialist for CP (incl D&H and Soo Line)and I took a call from a manager at Inco wondering about our rules for entraining & detraining. I told him our long standing rule was 6mph or less, but I was working on re-writing it to a bit lower. He told me Inco’s was 10mph which I suggested was a bit too high. My angst grew when he told me that was off the front footboards! It was a moot point because as you’ve noted, they got rid of the electrics not long after we had talked.
