  1. On an individual basis, I have been shuddering at the sight of each and every one of them the past couple of months as they come out of NSC (I first started seeing them at the beginning of January), but there is something appealing about this. Cool shot.

  2. Nice catch! At what time of day did you take this photograph? I myself was out rail fanning on the CN York Sub Yesterday from 4:30 to about 5:20. In fact, I was standing on the West side of the Newmarket Sub overpass. I know that I didn’t see this train but judging by the lighting, It seems that I might have just missed this consist.

  3. Hi Dan:

Around 1330 after an hour or so to get doubled over.

  4. True, the paint scheme is rather uninspired. I gather it’s the default NSC paint/decal pattern.

  5. Lots of Louis-Dreyfus hoppers coming out of NSC on CN yard jobs lately too. Same appearance as the CN and CP ones, but with LDC on the side. Wonder if you will see a big string of them head west at some point too?

  6. Good to know. Thanks for the reply. Dave.
