I was rather worried about whether I would catch an SD90MAC in the lead after hanging around Parry Sound all day and not seeing one. But persistence paid off. Captured rolling northbound over the Parry Sound trestle is CP 9117,along with SD40-2s 5745 and 5717.
The railfan on the ready to the left of the "lighthouse" is Don McQueen, who was on another safari at the time with George Schaller & Bill Thomson. I'm sure all were pleased with their shots of this train.
CP 9117 along with the rest of the surviving MACs was in storage, according to the most recent Trackside Guide.

  1. I believe 30 of them are in Kentucky being turned into some SD70 variation; there’s hope!!
