Sitting in the yard at Delson QC is a white flagged extra train powered by CP 8737, an MLW RS-18 in the wide diagonal stripes CP Rail paint scheme. The signal number is 351, corresponding to CP Adirondack sub mileage 35.1 Delson. It provides signal indications for trains entering the Adirondack sub off D&H / Napierville Junction Rwy track (as it was then, now CP's Lacolle Sub). This is very close to the grade crossing where I caught D&H 462 and train.

  1. You’ll still hear northbound CP trains calling that they’re clear signal 351 at Delson on the scanner, as it means they’re leaving the dark Lacolle Sub for the CTC Adirondack Sub.
