Like the field, things were muddy in 1976 for C&O in Ontario. They were still dealing with all the changes, good & bad, from the creation of Conrail in April.
Given the cost cutting and, the amount of motive power, this has to be train 42 from Detroit. My guess is, if you hung around, he made a big setoff of phosphate rock cars, either in Blenheim yard, or in the North siding alongside Sub #2.
