Caption: Having won the contract from CP to visually record the restoration and return to service of 2816 allowed the type of access to the Railway that I could previously only have dreamed of. We both chased and rode the 2816 between Vancouver and Calgary, and if the weather co-operated, had a chopper on standby for the section from Revelstoke to Golden. Indeed the weather was on our side, and after chasing 2816 from Revelstoke to Glacier by truck, I switched places and boarded the chopper for the airborne chase from Glacier to Golden. This shot finds 2816 approaching the west switch of Stoney Creek
