It looks like VIA #73, with 6424, is late heading westward, as #72 with VIA 6458 is due at Aldershot 1309. The timetable I have closest to this date shows #73 due at Brantford 1310. Anyway, it made for a nice afternoon surprise off the hillside at what used to be known as Hamilton West to the fans.

  1. Fabulous! Classic VIA. I never really understood the original F40 scheme; it didn’t really mesh with the LRC coaches and it certainly didn’t match the dark blue and yellow heritage fleet. Seemed to always look slightly dirty also.

  2. Nice shot.

  3. Perfect meets like this are rare.
