One of my favourite things about railfanning around Keppel Saskatchewan is the fact that CN and CP tracks are literally right next to each other. So with winter right around the corner I figured I ought to get out and enjoy it before one good snow fall takes the roads needed to access it out of commission for a few months. A pair of grungy CP GE's are seen here with a unit train of Alberta crude oil headed east.

  1. Great image Matt!

  2. Thanks Marcus

  3. Oil from Kerrobert ..??

  4. This one actually originated in Rosyth (Hardisty), I’ve heard they’re pumping out two trains per day from that large facility.
