After realising something was wrong with my Nikkor 55-200mm lens, I said enough. I recently upgraded all my gear including a Nikon D7000 with a 50mm 1.8 and a 70-300mm AFS. So far, fantastic results! GEXR no. 580 pulls into Guelph to begin it's daily work with the RLK 4095 in the lead.

  1. 50mm f/1.8 – great choice. I don’t use it often, but for the shots I do, it’s worth it :)

  2. I got it for $230 new at Best Buy. Amazing price amazing results.

  3. The 50mm is a very sharp lens

  4. Cheap. I paid $90 for mine HAHA

You’ll also find that older 50mm lenses are even sharper, like a 50mm AIS – but manual focus!

  5. Always loved the 50mm! Have one with me all the time.
