Caption: Before it was sent back to Boise for conversion by builder MotivePower Industies into a dual-engined Tier-4 emissions compliant "MP54" oddball, GO 647 was just another of the many MP40PH-3C units populating the fleet. Here it is doing its thing, putting that 4000 horsepower 16-710G to work pushing evening train #805 (Toronto to Barrie) out of Rutherford GO station in the rain, as passengers flock from the platforms to their waiting cars and buses at the station loop and parking lot. The photographer was always cutting it close doing these kind of departing shots, as his usual bus (pictured waiting by the station, one of the ever-present boring D40LF's) usually left 1-2 minutes after seeing the train pull out.
