Only a select few “Draper” Dash-8s have received CN’s newest paint scheme and of those I believe this is the only one equipped for DPU service. The humidex is in the mid 30’s and 2421 has the AC on high, LOL. In other words all cab doors open :) I’m sure the crew wishes they could spin the power and have A/C equipped  CITX SD70M-2 #140 in the lead. The mixed westbound is seen re-entering the double track at Stewartown.

  1. Surprising that the 140 is not leading. On hot days the shop guys usually put units that are AC equipped on the point. Too bad. I remember those days quite well.

  3. Yeah but the air blowing through is free and never needs maintenance.
    What? You don’t like wasps in the cab? LOL
