In a shot taken from the Waterdown Road overpass, here we see a fairly typical CP train exercising trackage rights over the Oakville subdivision--CP GP9us 8234 and 8235 bracketing C424s 4211 and 4241. At this time, CP typically operated trains in each direction between Toronto and Philadelphia (558/557), Niagara Falls and Ste. Therese (520/519), and Niagara Falls and Toronto (521, 522, and 523). (Plus trains 270/271 between Blue Island and Saratoga, NY over the Hamilton sub, according to the Canadian Trackside Guide.)
